WHAT IS DIWALI::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
This month, we invite you to come celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights with the Non Stop Bhangra crew. Diwali is known not only for the illumination of lights, but also as a time to reflect upon and celebrate the good fortune and relationships of the passing year while spreading positive energy for the coming year. What better way to celebrate such an auspicious and beautiful occasion than to share a dance or two or three with the beautiful people on the NSB dance floor. So bring a light, your smile and your most vibrant, colorful Indian style and get down with Non Stop Bhangra!

BARAAT MOB::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The evening will kick off with our Baraat Mob (dancing street procession) in the streets dancing to the venue. Baraat Mob meets at the corner of 14th & Valencia. Everyone that joins will get a special lighting treat to help illuminate the procession and brighten up the dancing circle as we take our colorful dancing bodies to Public Works.

INDIAN SWEETS:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The celebration continues with savory complementary indian sweets from for those that make it out to the venue early.

As always, the festivities will continue with the ritual Bhangra dance lesson followed by dance performances by the beautiful ladies of our Dholrhythms Dance Company. On the music end, we have special guest DJ Sandeep Kumar (L.A) and our local NSB fam Nix Bhachu (Bol Punjab De) joining DJ Jimmy Love on the decks keeping you dancing until almost 3am. Our Dhol drummers Pavit and Mehul will be in the house all night powering up the floor with beats alongside all the DJ’s.

Non Stop Bhangra VJ Amar keeps the visuals flowing along with special lighting throughout the night to remind us of the beauty of Diwali. Our amazing photographer Odell Hussey will be in the house capturing the energy as always. In addition, there will be a fun and funky photo booth area set up for everyone to get their selfies on.

DRESS THEME::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
On Diwali, its a tradition to wear something new, bright, and vibrant. So join the crew and help support the vibe by dressing up in your favorite new desi indian style to celebrate this beautiful indian holiday!
